DIIO

Most AI tools can capture what was said. diio understands what the conversation was trying to accomplish.

diio analyzes customer interactions across meetings, calls, WhatsApp, and other channels, combining the content of the conversation with its context, objective, and your team’s own playbooks.

That lets its AI go beyond summaries. It can identify customer needs, objections, commitments, risks, next steps, and signals that indicate whether an interaction is progressing toward its goal.

The result is a continuously growing intelligence layer built from real conversations — not just notes or structured fields.

Teams can use that intelligence to understand customers, prioritize what needs attention, improve how they execute, and act on signals hidden across thousands of interactions.

diio turns conversations into context AI can understand and context into better decisions.

THROUGH THE VALLEY

Tavus built an AI that fooled 48% of people on video calls - its new Griffin model can see, hear, talk and react simultaneously during live video calls. Unlike most existing AI video models that take turns speaking, Griffin can watch and listen while it talks. It can nod mid-sentence, handle interruptions, change its facial expressions and even talk about things it sees on your screen.

The result is incredibly convincing. In a study Tavus conducted with 54 people, 48% thought Griffin-Lite was a real human after a one-minute blind video call. Its previous model managed just 2.4%. Griffin also topped NVIDIA's VideoFDB benchmark, scoring 3.83/5 on NVIDIA’s video full-duplex benchmark, compared to 3.92/5 for a real human (that gap is way too small).

While that video call study had a small number of participants and was conducted by Tavaus, the demos are incredibly convincing and make for a grim future for video calls.

As Emad Mostaque put it, "remote work is cooked". That might be premature, but imagine getting on a video call with a job candidate, coworker, or someone claiming to be a family member and having no idea whether they're real.

Griffin-Lite is limited to trusted testers for now while Tavus works on safety and disclosure features before a wider release.

The technology is impressive. The potential for scams is equally impressive, unfortunately (good luck trusting video calls in a few years).
