1/Hugging Face launched its own version of ChatGPT
Hugging Face recently introduced an open-source ChatGPT clone called HuggingChat.
HuggingChat is based on the Open Assistant AI model, a project created by LAION, a non-profit organization which also developed the dataset used to train Stable Diffusion.
Like ChatGPT, this chatbot can generate different types of text, debug and write code, create Excel formulas, and answer general questions.
HuggingChat is currently open to users without requiring registration. However, the quality of its output is not yet at the level of ChatGPT as it is still in its early development.
TikTok introduces Text to Image AI
TikTok is testing a new tool that allows users to create generative AI avatars within its platform.
Initially spotted by Matt Navarra, this tool is similar to Lensa and lets users create personalized avatars from their photos using generative AI technology.
To use the tool, users will need to select three to ten photos, and the tool will generate up to 30 avatars based on those photos. Users can then choose up to five different styles for the avatars. The generated avatars can be downloaded, shared on TikTok stories, or used as profile avatars.
Meta unveils AI for Metaverse
Mark Zuckerberg revealed that Meta is planning to introduce AI agents to its social platforms including WhatsApp, Messenger, Facebook, and Instagram, as well as the Metaverse.
Mark believes that It will be useful to everyone from regular people to creators to businesses.
It may help:
• to create a more engaging chat experience.
• the creators design and produce high-quality visual content and ads.
• the business in messaging and more personalized customer support.
Meta had initially been slow to build the infrastructure to support these kinds of AI features, but now Zuckerberg said that they are no longer behind in building their AI infrastructure, and also hinted at the launch of generative AI products in the coming months.
