🧠 OpenAI CEO Sam Altman confirms that Level-3 Agents are coming
In a recent conversation between T-Mobile and OpenAI, Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, discussed the exciting advancements of the new "o1 models" and how they represent a significant leap in AI capabilities.
How do these models differ from previous generations?
Unlike previous iterations, which excelled at basic pattern recognition and simple tasks, the o1 models focus on more advanced reasoning. These models have the potential to tackle complex problems in areas like programming, mathematics, and science, offering solutions that were previously unattainable.
What's the future of AI with o1 models?
Altman highlighted that this new wave of models, while still in its early stages, will improve rapidly, opening doors to numerous use cases beyond traditional chat interfaces.

🫳 The Intelligence Age
Sam Altman believes we may be on the brink of superintelligence, predicting it could arrive within just a few thousand days. In his latest blog post, The Intelligence Age, published Monday, Altman outlines a vision where AI transforms nearly every aspect of life.
What are the key takeaways?
Altman foresees a future where AI assistants evolve into "personal AI teams," capable of handling almost any task a person can imagine. He anticipates transformative breakthroughs in areas like education—think AI tutors—enhanced healthcare, and the ability to generate software on demand.
His vision of the Intelligence Age also includes unprecedented progress in addressing global challenges like climate change, advancing space exploration, and pushing the boundaries of physics, fueled by limitless intelligence and energy.
But Altman isn’t blind to the risks. He warns that while AI's impact on the job market may unfold more slowly than predicted, it could render many current roles obsolete, forcing society to rethink the future of work.
Why does it matter?
Altman's optimistic perspective indicates that, regardless of the timeline, superintelligence is poised to significantly impact our future and could revolutionize society by matching or even surpassing human capabilities.
SOCIAL AI
💬 Your private Twitter clone where no humans are allowed
A new social network app called SocialAI gives each user their private version of Twitter, in which everyone else is an AI-driven bot. It's up to the user whether the bots act like fans or trolls (and you have 0 human followers).
You choose followers like "supporters," "nerds," "skeptics," "visionaries," "doomers," or "ideators." Then, bots with those themes respond to your posts—similar to Elon Musk's social network bots, but now completely under your control.
Why does it matter?
SocialAI has sparked a debate about the role and value of online communication. While its creator sees it as a response to the toxicity of real social media, it could represent a significant shift in social media dynamics and human-AI interaction.

👄 OpenAI released Advanced Voice Mode
OpenAI has rolled out Advanced Voice Mode for all ChatGPT Plus and Team users, introducing additional improvements that represent a significant advancement in conversational AI technology.
What's new?
AVM allows for more fluid and responsive conversations, enabling users to interrupt the AI and receive immediate reactions to changes in direction.
Users can now personalize how ChatGPT responds to them using Custom Instructions and Memory, allowing the AI to remember conversations and reference them later.
Five new voices have been added, named Arbor, Maple, Sol, Spruce, and Vale, bringing the total number of available voices to nine.
Improvements have been made in accent recognition and conversational smoothness, particularly in over 50 foreign languages.
What next?
OpenAI has hinted at plans to introduce video and screen-sharing capabilities in future updates, though no timeline has been provided.
