Luma AI announced a brand new feature called “Loops” for its Dream Machine platform via X.
What does it do?
The new update allows users to create seamless, continuous video loops without visible cuts or transitions, from simply text descriptions, images, or keyframes.
Why is this a big deal?
Until now, AI-generated videos often looked choppy or disjointed when played for more than a few seconds. Loops change that. It lets users create videos that play smoothly over and over, without any jarring transitions.

What's going on?
OpenAI is in talks with Broadcom and other chip designers about creating their own AI chip.
What’s the game plan?
They want to mesh their software and hardware better and tackle the current AI chip shortage.
They’re also hiring ex-Google employees who know their stuff about Tensor processors to speed up chip development.
Why does it matter?
Sam Altman’s vision for AI infrastructure is shifting gears from relying on others to building it in-house at OpenAI. Crafting their chips means they can speed up research, cut down on dependence on NVIDIA, and grab more control over their tech.
Where do things stand?
Right now, OpenAI and Broadcom are just getting their talks off the ground, exploring various partnerships and collaborations.
Even with a hefty $13 billion from Microsoft, they might need more support to turn these plans into reality.
