UPDATE
ByteDance, the company behind TikTok, is accused of misusing OpenAI's technology to develop its own AI project, potentially breaching OpenAI's terms.
According to The Verge, ByteDance has secretly utilized OpenAI's API for Project Seed, their AI project.
Internal records show ByteDance employees were told to hide their activities using "data desensitization." ByteDance says it has Microsoft's permission to use GPT APIs and uses its model for the Doubao chatbot.
OpenAI has suspended ByteDance's account for investigation, with possible termination.

Meta’s new audio generation model, Audiobox can create sound effects and speech from voice or text. It offers six features in its free demo:

UPDATE
Tesla recently released a video of their advanced humanoid robot, Optimus Gen 2, showing significant improvements over the first version.
The new robot, real and unaltered in the video, can walk faster, squat, and delicately handle objects like eggs. Its hands are also improved for finer tasks.
However, it's still a prototype and not for sale, part of Tesla's goal to replace human labor in certain tasks.

META added multimodal AI to its smart glass Ray-Ban with AI features like visual and audio recognition. These glasses can answer questions based on your location, suggest fashion pairings, and even post photos to social media.
This week Google unveiled MusicFX, its next-generation artificial intelligence music generator. The tool lets you create a sample instrumental track in seconds from just a few words of text.

Stability AI recently launched Stable Zero123, their latest image model that promises a giant leap in 3D model creation.
This model is now released on Hugging Face to enable researchers and non-commercial users to download and experiment with it.
The research took into account the most commonly used versions of CAPTCHAs on popular websites with 1,400 participants solving over 14,000 CAPTCHAs. Bots are scoring up to 100% and 99% in terms of accuracy for some CAPTCHA tests.
