happy friday, AI family, and welcome back to AI Valley.

  • Plus trending AI tools, posts, and resources

Let’s dive into the Valley of AI…

SOMNIPODS

Courtesy: SomniPods

Sleeping in regular earbuds sounds fine until you roll onto your side.

SomniPods 3 are made specifically for sleep. Each earbud weighs just 3.3g and is only 9.9mm thin, so they sit much flatter in your ear and don’t press as hard against the pillow.

They also combine Hybrid ANC, passive noise isolation, and sleep sounds to help with things like snoring, traffic, hotel noise, or a partner who keeps a very different sleep schedule.

The idea is pretty simple: make earbuds that are actually comfortable enough to wear through the night, instead of taking your normal headphones to bed and hoping for the best.

If nighttime noise is one of the reasons you struggle to fall asleep or stay asleep, these are worth checking out.

THROUGH THE VALLEY

1/ ChatGPT can now remember what you do on your computer: OpenAI is replacing its Chronicle preview with Computer History, an opt-in feature that tracks things like clicks, typing, app switches, and accessibility events across your Mac. It turns that activity into local summaries that ChatGPT and Codex can use to understand what you’ve been working on and automate repetitive tasks. A huge productivity upgrade, though privacy purists will almost certainly hate it. (watch the launch video)

2/ Cursor is now part of SpaceX: Cursor has officially closed its acquisition by SpaceX and will join the SpaceX AI team, working on Grok, Grok Build, Grok Bot, Grok API, and Cursor. It’s an unusual combination, but one that gives SpaceX one of the hottest coding-agent teams in the industry as it pushes Grok beyond a chatbot.

3/ Grok is getting much better at actually building things: SpaceXAI released Grok 4.6, with a bigger focus on coding, research, long-running agents, and visual projects. It can test its own work, spot problems, and keep refining the result across multiple steps. The model reportedly matches GPT-5.6 Sol on Artificial Analysis, but its ability to turn vague product ideas into working apps may be the more interesting part.

4/ Google just made its cheap AI model much better: Gemini 3.7 Flash is Google's latest Flash model, with major upgrades for coding, web development, and handling long documents. But the bigger story may be the price: Google cut the original 3.6 Flash API price in half to $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output tokens, putting even more pressure on the rest of the AI industry.
