OpenAI is reportedly in advanced talks to raise $6.5 billion, which could push its valuation to an astounding $150 billion, solidifying its position as one of the largest startups in the world.

Bloomberg reported that the latest funding round would raise OpenAI's valuation to 74% above its previous $86 billion appraisal earlier this year.

In addition to the $6.5 billion funding round, OpenAI is also seeking a $5 billion revolving credit facility from banks.

Adobe teases new AI-generative video capabilities

Adobe has announced its upcoming Firefly generative AI features, showcasing text-to-video and image-to-video capabilities, set to be released in beta later this year.

• The Firefly Video Model will enable users to generate video clips based on text or image prompts with the ability to adjust camera angles, motion, and shooting distance using simulated camera controls.
