On Wednesday, Altman shared an intriguing image of strawberries on X, sparking speculations about potential upcoming features or improvements for ChatGPT.

What's the speculation about?

There’s an ongoing rumor that they’re developing a foundation model called ‘Strawberry’ or 'Q*,' which could be the GPT-5 variant everyone’s been waiting for. Some speculate that a recent photo might be hinting at this.

What is Project Strawberry?

Project Strawberry is rumored to significantly advance AI capabilities, allowing models to plan, conduct advanced research, and analyze data over time.

🏓 Google DeepMind’s AI-Powered Table Tennis Robot

Google DeepMind has unveiled the first AI-powered robotic table tennis player capable of competing at an amateur human level.

What’s behind the system?

The robot uses an ABB IRB 1100 industrial arm paired with custom AI software from DeepMind.

How does it perform?

In tests with 29 participants, the robot won 45% of its matches, dominating beginners with a 100% win rate and achieving a 55% win rate against intermediate players. However, it struggled against advanced opponents.

Where does it fall short?

The robot struggles with fast or high balls, intense spin, and backhand plays, showing that expert human players can still outplay the bot.
