💰 AI Startup set to transform content revenue sharing
ProRata.ai developed a technology to enable generative AI platforms to accurately attribute and share revenues with content owners on a per-user basis.
What’s the backing?
According to Axios, ProRata has raised $25 million in a Series A round from Mayfield, Revolution Ventures, Prime Movers Lab, and Idealab Studio.
Who’s on board?
Universal Music, The Financial Times, Axel Springer, The Atlantic, and Fortune have licensed their content to ProRata.
How does it work?
Its patented algorithm evaluates and distributes revenue based on the contribution of each content owner, assessing factors like content uniqueness and relevance.
Anything else?
They plan to debut a revenue-sharing model this fall.
They also aim to license their model to AI firms like OpenAI or Anthropic to connect AI companies and content publishers.

🤖 Nvidia AI powers robots with Apple Vision Pro
Nvidia recently revealed a new tool suite for developers to control and monitor robots using Apple’s Vision Pro headset.
It turns user movements captured by the Vision Pro into robot actions, making it super easy to control robotic limbs.
How does it improve robot training?
Additionally, it can generate synthetic datasets from these captured movements, which reduces the time and cost of collecting real-world data for robot training.
Why does it matter?
This is teleoperation in action! It could make it way easier and more intuitive for humans to work with robots, boosting their usefulness in areas like manufacturing, healthcare, and the service industry.

🖼️ Amazon upgrades its AI image generator.
Amazon has launched Titan Image Generator v2 via Amazon Bedrock, featuring enhancements like image conditioning, color palette control, background removal, and subject consistency.
What stands out?
It uses ControlNet techniques for image conditioning, allowing users to guide the output image with a reference image, preserve edges, and identify regions.
It provides fine-tuning for subject consistency, ensuring accurate and uniform depictions of specific subjects across multiple generated images.
It also offers advanced background removal tools to isolate main subjects and eliminate distracting backgrounds for easier composing.
