1/ Microsoft Bing’s Big Update

Microsoft's GPT-4 Bing chatbot is now available to everyone, and there is no more waitlist required. Just sign in to Bing with Microsoft account and you're all set to go.

Also, there are some serious upgrades announced by Microsoft today for their Bing search like:

• Integration of visual element: Allowing users to generate visual answers such as charts and graphs using images.

• Image creator to support over 100 languages: Users will be able to generate images from text in their native language.

• Persistent Chat: Users can track their chat history and continue their conversations across multiple interactions with a chatbot.

• Third-party plugins: This allows the developers to build apps that run within the Bing chat, just like in ChatGPT.

2/ Godfather of AI quits Google of potential AGI

AI is going to outsmart all of us! That's what Geoffrey Hinton thinks, the very first person to lay the foundation technology for these AI systems.

After a decade working as a Google executive, He now lefts the company to express his concerns about AI freely.

He believes that these systems were initially developed to make things easier for human workers. But now, it's not really looking good for us. What worries him is that AI technology is becoming way smarter than he expected and if it is not controlled properly then it will easily manipulate us with fake information and maybe completely take most of our jobs.
