Meta to continue launching AI tools despite allegations of leaks

Recently, people on 4chan claimed that an unauthorized user had leaked Meta's new large language model (LLaMA) for download via torrent.

Despite these leaks, Meta said it will continue to release its AI tool.

Unlike its rival like OpenAI, Meta shares most of its work openly, but they are careful because AI tools can be used to mass spread false information.

To prevent that, Meta only gives their tools to researchers and groups approved by the government, academics, and civil society.

Meta believes that their current release strategy allows them to be responsible while still being open.

Microsoft Launches AI-Powered 'Copilot' to Enhance Business Efficiency

Microsoft has announced that it will be introducing next-generation AI capabilities to its business applications tools suite, Dynamics 365.

Updates coming soon to Dynamics 365 will offer "copilot" functions using generative AI to streamline repetitive tasks in sales, customer service, marketing, customer insights, and supply chains.

This will allow workers to focus on more creative aspects of their jobs:

•It can generate email responses for customers and summarize meetings.

•It can also help create virtual agents quickly to answer customer queries.
