AI builders started with a big idea: chat with AI to build apps. Two years later, we’ve learned the hard way. Conversational AI leads to conversational problems. You say “change the button,” and it changes three. You clarify, and it breaks the layout. That’s not building, it’s negotiating.

Rocket’s Precision Mode changes everything. With 100+ structured commands like “Fix mobile layout,” “Add Stripe checkout,” or “Connect Supabase database,” Rocket delivers production-grade output with speed and accuracy. No retries. No ambiguity.

Commands encode implementation logic so you get exactly what you intended, on the first try. This is what professional-grade AI building looks like: precise, predictable, and scalable.

Stop learning prompt engineering. Start commanding.

THROUGH THE VALLEY

The challenge of turning a simple 2D image into a detailed 3D model has long been a bottleneck in fields from game development to augmented reality. Today, Meta is taking a massive leap forward in solving this problem with the launch of SAM 3 and SAM 3D, the next generation of its Segment Anything Model. Both models are now available to try in the new Segment Anything Playground.

So, what can it do?

Imagine pointing your phone at a vintage chair and saying, "isolate the wooden armrest." SAM 3’s new text-driven segmentation does exactly that, understanding prompts like “yellow school bus” without being limited to pre-defined labels. This is a significant upgrade from earlier versions.

The even bigger breakthrough is SAM 3D. While previous models struggled with the complexity of the real world, SAM 3D can take a single photograph of an object or a person and generate a complete, textured 3D asset. In human evaluations, it reportedly outperformed competing models "by a wide margin."

Why does it matter?

The practical applications are immediate. Meta is already integrating this tech into Facebook Marketplace's "View in Room" feature, allowing you to see how a piece of furniture would look in your home before buying. Soon, you could take a picture of your sneakers and instantly create a 3D model of them for a video game or a virtual reality environment.

For developers, today's AI coding assistants are brilliant for short snippets but often hit a wall. Ask them to refactor an entire codebase or debug a complex, multi-file issue, and they tend to lose the plot, forget earlier instructions, and run up massive API costs. OpenAI's latest release, GPT-5.1-Codex-Max, is designed to smash through that wall.

The core of Codex-Max is a new training technique called "compaction," which allows it to juggle millions of lines of code without losing focus.

Codex-Max is capable of managing:

  • A complete, multi-step redesign of a user interface.

  • Hunting down an elusive, deep-seated bug across dozens of files.

  • Running autonomously for hours on a complex task, like modernizing an old codebase, without drifting off-task.

Why does it matter?

The practical result is a shift from a handy tool to a true junior partner. Now, a development team could hand off a tedious, large-scale refactoring job to Codex-Max with confidence that it will see the task through to completion consistently and cost-effectively. Its improved token efficiency means it does more work for less money, making previously prohibitive AI-agent projects suddenly feasible.

GPT‑5.1-Codex-Max is available in Codex with ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, Edu, and Enterprise plans.
