1. Meta claims its new 🖼️ image-generating model is the best on the market

Meta claims to have made a breakthrough in AI-powered image generation with their new CM3Leon model because of its multimodal capabilities meaning it can handle multiple types of data at the same time.

Its capabilities: This model can easily make edits to existing images based on text instructions, generate captions for images, and even answer questions about the content of an image.

And Meta also claims that it can generate high-resolution and detailed images faster than other models. You can see the images below generated from this model.

2. BMW Announces World's First Color-Changing Car 🚗

Say hello to the BMW’s i Vision Dee, an electric sedan that can change colors on your voice command.

This “color-changing paint” is powered by EInk, ePaper, and Electrophoretic tech.

It is capable of displaying 32 different colors.

How it works: BMW's i Vision Dee uses a thin wrap that is applied to a surface. This wrap has millions of tiny pockets filled with particles that can change color when you give them electricity.

By controlling this electricity, BMW can make the car change its color.

Roadblock: This technology is really cool and it looks like a futuristic movie car. But it may be distracting on the road so it's a bit hard to get the government approval on this.

3. Google Bard’s 🤖 Big Update

Google is adding tons of updates to Bard that OpenAI doesn't offer through ChatGPT.

The search giant has given its AI the ability to speak, change tones, pin conversations, export code and even use images as part of prompts.

This update essentially gives Bard both eyes and a tongue to speak.

I think Google is more experienced at building out projects into streamlined finished products and OpenAI is more research-oriented.
