• Google Lens + AI: By uploading a photo, your search can now include questions for AI to answer. Eg, if you take a photo of a board game you don't know, you can ask, "How do I play this?"

Google Chrome is introducing three AI features in its latest update for Mac and Windows:

• AI-Powered Writing Assistant: It simplifies composing online content like reviews and forum posts.

• Automatic Tab Organizer: It groups and labels open browser tabs automatically for better management.

• Custom AI-Generated Browser Themes: It allows the creation of personalized themes based on mood, style, and color.

Mark Zuckerberg is intensifying efforts to develop AGI, a form of AI with human-level capabilities.

He is merging two of Meta's AI projects, FAIR and GenAI, to work towards creating 'general intelligence.'

Zuck explains that Meta’s new broader focus on AGI was influenced by the release of Llama 2, its latest large language model, last year. 

The timing of Zuckerberg’s new AGI push is a bit awkward. It has been only two years since he changed the company name to focus on the metaverse.
