1/ Demis Hassabis steps down as Google DeepMind CEO: Google reshuffled its AI leadership, with Demis Hassabis stepping down as CEO to become Chair of Google DeepMind and Alphabet's Chief Scientist while continuing to lead Isomorphic Labs. The startup aims to build neural interfaces that let users communicate with AI using their thoughts, with a long-term vision of making AI feel like a natural extension of the human mind.

4/ Figure AI introduces a web browsing model for everyday tasks: Figure AI unveiled Hark Handoff, an AI model designed to navigate the internet like a human by ordering food, booking flights, shopping, and completing other everyday online tasks.
