Anthropic Unveils ChatGPT 🥊 rival, Claude 2

Claude-2, Anthropic's ChatGPT competitor was just released and it's incredible.

I already used Claude and here’s why it’s better than other AI:

• It is absolutely free.

• The content generated by Claude 2 is considered more human-like than content from ChatGPT.

• You can upload much longer texts than ChatGPT (roughly 75,000 words, about the length of a book) without breaking a sweat.

• It has more recent data (some from early 2023)

One downside I found: It hallucinates a lot.

Massive Funding: The company has raised $1.45 billion so far and estimates it will need $5 billion over the next two years to create its envisioned chatbot.

Why it matters: If Claude 2 turns out to be as strong as GPT-4, it could potentially break the OpenAI monopoly on strong AI.

Elon Musk Unveils His 🤖 AI Company

Elon Musk has officially launched the X AI website saying that it will work with Tesla, Twitter, and others to understand how the universe works.

The company will compete with other leading AI firms such as OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic.

The inception of xAI was earlier reported in April, with Musk unveiled plans for an AI tool called “TruthGPT,” stating his concern about current AI companies' emphasis on "politically correct" systems.

Elon’s Edge: He has over 400 million Twitter accounts with years of text and millions of Tesla data to train his AI agents on. And let’s not forget he has the most capital.

On a website, xAI said its team will be led by Musk and includes team members that have worked at other AI giants like OpenAI, Google Research, Microsoft Research, and DeepMind.
