OpenAI's burning a whopping $700,000 daily just to keep ChatGPT running smoothly. The cost does not include other AI products like GPT-4 and DALL-E2. Right now, it is pulling through only because of Microsoft's $10 billion funding.
In other buzz, user counts are taking a dip. From a peak of 1.7 billion users in June, we're now looking at 1.5 billion – a slide of 12 percent.
Remember when ChatGPT reached 1 Million users in just 5 days? Those golden days might be sunsetting. But hey, everyone loves a good comeback 🤞

As AI-generated music gains popularity, Google and Universal Music are discussing ways to use it legally.
What you need to know:
They want to create a system that allows fans to legally make tracks using AI-generated voices of famous artists while compensating the original artists for their work.
Under this system, artists have the choice to participate or not. If they decide to join, their voices and melodies could be used to create AI-generated music (just like Grimes).
Google recently released MusicLM and had been working in collaboration with artists to develop it. (I guess it might play some role in this)
CLAUDE AI

Google-backed Anthropic has introduced an updated version of its chatbot called Claude Instant 1.2.
Fresh from the Oven:
Why's it a big deal? It's built on the foundations of Claude 2.0, which rolled out this July. So, what's the upgrade like? Improved math chops, sharper coding skills, better reasoning, and (the big one) enhanced safety.
