Apple is reportedly developing a tabletop smart home device that combines an iPad-style display with a robotic arm.
What will it do?
The device is intended to function as a command center, a videoconferencing tool, and a remote-controlled security system.
How will users interact with it?
The primary user interaction with this device is expected to be through Siri and other Apple Intelligence features. It may include capabilities such as voice recognition and the ability to respond to commands like “look at me” to focus on the speaker.
When is it coming out?
Bloomberg sources indicate that Apple plans to launch the product in 2026 or 2027, with an estimated price of around $1,000.
