Apple's new Vision Pro headset, priced at $3,500 will be released tomorrow, is a major step into AI, according to analyst Dan Ives.
Key points:
This is Apple's first significant product since the AirPods in 2016.
Sales are expected to hit 600,000 units in 2024, potentially reaching over a million by 2025.
Future models may be cheaper and resemble sunglasses. Already, 200,000 units have been sold since January 19.
App Store on Vision Pro has more than 1 million apps at launch from brands like Adobe, Disney, Perplexity AI, etc.

Google recently announced MobileDiffusion which converts text to images on mobile devices in a few seconds.
It uses an efficient latent diffusion model with a comparably small model size which is well-suited for mobile.
The performance of MobileDiffusion on both iOS and Android devices is pretty great.
