VIKTOR
You know what today is. So does your whole team. Focus might be a little... scattered.
Viktor doesn't get distracted. Here's what it did today while your team was posting memes in #general:
Pulled Stripe revenue and posted the weekly recap to your private channel. Churned accounts flagged, net-new breakdown included.
Reviewed two pull requests on GitHub, cross-checked them with Linear tickets, and flagged a blocker in #engineering before standup.
Marketing needed a Google Ads vs Meta comparison. Viktor built the PDF and dropped it in #growth. Took three minutes.
Caught a Shopify checkout flow failing silently. Posted the alert to #ecommerce before revenue was lost.
Drafted three vendor follow-up emails from Notion docs and sent them.
One teammate. Every department. All from Slack.
8,000+ teams. 3,000+ integrations. SOC 2 certified.

THROUGH THE VALLEY
1/ Moonshot’s Kimi K2.6 puts open AI back in the race

Courtesy: Moonshot AI
Moonshot AI has open-sourced Kimi K2.6, a new coding agent delivering top results against models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google across major reasoning and software benchmarks. The model reportedly leads on tests like SWE-Bench Pro, BrowseComp, and Humanity’s Last Exam, while also performing strongly in longer sessions that matter more than one-shot prompts. Moonshot says K2.6 can run for 12 hours continuously, make more than 4,000 tool calls in a single session, and coordinate up to 300 parallel sub-agents on larger tasks.
Moonshot also introduced Kimi K2.6 Agent, a web-building system that can generate full production-ready websites from a single prompt, combining advanced design, interactive visuals, and backend infrastructure in one run. It builds with tools like React, TypeScript, Tailwind, and Three.js, while also wiring up features like authentication, databases, dashboards, and booking systems without a separate backend step. The release adds pressure on closed AI labs as open models move beyond benchmarks into practical products people can use immediately.
2/ OpenAI is preparing a more active version of ChatGPT with Hermes

Courtesy: Tibor Blaho
OpenAI appears to be developing a new Agents platform for ChatGPT that would let users create, configure, and manage their own always-on AI workers under the codename Hermes. Early Studio references highlight roles like “Data Analyst” and “Chief of Staff,” suggesting OpenAI is moving beyond chatbots toward tools designed to help users build AI-driven teams and workflows. The platform reportedly includes templates to launch proven workflows in minutes, Slack-based agents that can handle common questions automatically, and customizable agents connected to tools, skills, files, memory, and schedules. Messaging such as “Keep work moving 24/7 with agents” points to a bigger shift where ChatGPT could evolve from an assistant you open on demand into software that works continuously in the background.

3/ Claude turns dashboards and tools into a prompt

Courtesy: Anthropic
Anthropic’s new Cowork feature lets Claude build live dashboards, trackers, and internal tools connected to apps like Slack, Salesforce, Google Drive, Asana, and Jira, with reports that refresh whenever reopened. Work that once required BI software, data pipelines, and technical teams can now begin with a prompt and a permission click. In one early example, Claude built a Google and Meta ads dashboard in under a minute, pulling campaign data, spotting trends, scheduling recurring tasks, and helping generate new creatives.
4/ Apple’s new CEO takes over in the middle of AI war

Apple has named longtime hardware chief John Ternus as its next CEO, with Tim Cook stepping down on September 1 after leading one of the most profitable runs in corporate history. Inside Apple, Ternus helped drive the shift to Apple Silicon, the chip transition that revived the Mac and reduced reliance on Intel Corporation processors. He has also overseen major launches across iPhone, iPad, AirPods, and the Vision Pro era, earning a reputation for disciplined execution and strong product instincts. His appointment comes as Apple remains dominant in devices but faces mounting pressure from rivals moving faster in AI.
MONGODB
Coding agents are changing how software gets built. But agents are generalists, and they don't follow the best-practices production systems demand. MongoDB Agent Skills give coding agents, such as Claude Code and Cursor, the MongoDB expertise they need for real-world tasks.
With MongoDB Agent Skills, agents can:
Ship faster with production-ready schemas, queries, and code
Stay context-aware with the MongoDB MCP Server
Apply best practices across the full development lifecycle
Available alongside the MongoDB MCP Server via plugins for Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, and VS Code.
