CHATGPT
🔍️ OpenAI launched ChatGPT search
ChatGPT just introduced ChatGPT Search which provides a faster, more accurate web search experience with direct links to high-quality sources, perfect for up-to-date news, sports scores, stock quotes, and more.
Here’s what to know:
ChatGPT can automatically search the web based on your question or lets you start a search manually.
Gone are the days of combing through search links—just ask naturally, and ChatGPT will pull timely answers straight from the web. Follow-up questions will keep the conversation relevant, bringing you closer to the information you need. (see example below)
In partnership with news and data providers, ChatGPT will fetch you the latest information and visuals across categories like weather, stocks, sports, and maps. Responses include links to original sources for easy access.
It is available on chatgpt.com, desktop, and mobile apps for ChatGPT Plus, Team users, and SearchGPT waitlist members, with a broader rollout planned soon.
What’s Next: Future plans include expanding the search’s capabilities in complex areas like shopping and travel, where ChatGPT’s reasoning abilities will help users find precisely what they’re looking for.
ROBOTICS
🦿 Let’s talk about Robotics for a moment
Humanoid robots are making waves with exciting new launches that showcase significant upgrades, poised to transform various industries.
The early adoption curve for humanoid robots closely resembles that of early automobiles, highlighting a shift from mere curiosity to practicality as these technologies become integral to everyday life.
Let’s take a look at the most recent humanoid robot launches:
1. Engine AI’s SE01 humanoid robot
Engine AI has launched its SE01 humanoid robot, designed for natural human-like movement by leveraging advanced neural networks and sensors.
Its movements challenge the typical image of robots with “choppy steps, bent knees, and stomping.” Instead, SE01’s strides are swift and smooth, bringing its behavior remarkably close to that of a human.
The SE01 stands out with smooth, energy-efficient strides and is constructed from durable, lightweight materials like aerospace-grade aluminum.

Tesla’s latest creation, Optimus, is set to redefine automation in both workplaces and homes.
Equipped with Tesla’s AI and neural processing, Optimus can “see” its surroundings and perform tasks such as factory work and household chores.
In factories, Optimus could enhance efficiency by taking on repetitive tasks, allowing human workers to focus on skilled roles.
3. Neo Beta
The humanoid robot Neo made headlines by living with a YouTuber for 48 hours, marking its first deployment in a home setting.
The robot assisted with cooking and handled simple interactions.
This deployment demonstrated its potential for autonomous home tasks as its AI develops.
4. New Atlas (by Boston Dynamics)
Atlas, a leaping, backflipping humanoid robot from Boston Dynamics, utilizes depth sensors for real-time perception.
Recently, Boston Dynamics showcased the latest version of Atlas, highlighting its unique range of motion.
Atlas can now perform sorting tasks in a simulated factory environment using machine learning and upgraded sensors.
5. Figure AI
Figure’s humanoid robot, Figure 02, can move at 2.7 miles per hour and lift up to 44 pounds.
Equipped with GPT models through a partnership with OpenAI, Figure 02 understands voice commands and can engage in natural conversations.
It operates for five hours on an electrical system, making it a practical assistant.
6. Engineered Arts
UK-based Engineered Arts specializes in developing ultra-realistic humanoid robots for various industries.
Their signature product, Ameca, is renowned for its stunningly lifelike facial expressions.
Ameca’s interactive capabilities make it a popular choice for exhibitions and media productions.
7. Torso (by Clone Robotics)
Clone Robotics’ “Torso,” inspired by Westworld, is gaining attention for its lifelike movements and functionality.
Powered by a 500W electrohydraulic pump, Torso mimics human motion with impressive realism.
Its applications may soon expand into manufacturing and healthcare.
