Viktor is the AI employee that lives in your Slack and Teams.
Show it how you handle reorders. How you draft launch briefs. How AP approvals move through your team. What your standup notes look like. Viktor learns each workflow once and starts doing it for you.
By week three, finance, marketing, eng, and ops are all delegating to the same employee. The question stops being "can Viktor do this?" and becomes "what should we hand off next?"

THROUGH THE VALLEY
1/ Anthropic unveils Claude Opus 4.8

Anthropic has released Claude Opus 4.8, the latest version of its flagship AI model with improvements across coding, reasoning, computer use, and financial analysis. The company says the model is better at recognizing when it doesn't know something and less likely to make things up. Early partners including Shopify, Cursor, Genspark, and Databricks found Opus 4.8 to be more reliable on long-running agent tasks, while Anthropic says it is four times less likely to miss bugs in generated code. The release also introduces parallel AI subagents, adjustable reasoning controls, and cheaper high-speed inference. Anthropic also teased more powerful “Mythos-class” models expected to arrive in the coming weeks.
2/ Anthropic becomes the world’s most valuable startup
Anthropic has raised $65 billion at a $965 billion valuation, making it the world’s most valuable startup and pushing it ahead of OpenAI. The round was led by Greenoaks, Sequoia, Altimeter, and Dragoneer, with new strategic investors including Samsung, Micron, and SK Hynix. Anthropic says the funding will help meet what CFO Krishna Rao described as “historic demand” for its AI products. The company’s ARR has reportedly surpassed $47 billion (vs OpenAI ARR $27 billion), underscoring the rapid growth of enterprise AI spending and Anthropic’s emergence as one of the biggest winners of the AI boom.
3/ Startup offers free cleaning to train future robots

Startup Shift has launched a new service in New York City that offers free apartment cleaning in exchange for data used to train future robots. Customers book a cleaning as usual, but the cleaner arrives wearing recording equipment that captures how everyday household tasks are performed. Shift says any personal information is anonymized before the data is processed. The company believes human demonstrations of real-world chores are becoming increasingly valuable as robotics companies race to build more capable household robots. Today the service is focused on apartment cleaning, but Shift plans to expand into repairs, handyman services, and other everyday tasks in the future.
4/ Apple prepares biggest Siri upgrade in years

Apple is expected to unveil a completely redesigned Siri at WWDC on June 8 as part of its broader AI push in iOS 27. The assistant is being rebuilt around Google Gemini and will gain AI-powered search, a dedicated chatbot-style app, and support for third-party AI models. Siri will reportedly use on-device data, screen content, and web information to answer questions and complete tasks, while new AI features are also planned for the Camera app, photo editing, wallpapers, and shortcuts. The launch is a critical moment for Apple after a series of AI delays over the past two years, with the company now under pressure to catch up with OpenAI and Google.
