1/ SpaceXAI launches an AI coworker with its own cloud computer: SpaceXAI and Cursor have launched Grok Bot, an agent that can continuously operate apps and websites, complete tasks, and return with finished work instead of simply answering prompts. Bots can research leads, update CRMs, process invoices, reproduce bugs, and run learned workflows across tools, even when the user's computer is closed. The agent is available in beta for select SuperGrok Heavy and Cursor subscribers, with plans starting at $120 per seat for teams and $200 per month for individuals. (watch the launch video)

2/ Anthropic is adding invisible watermarks to Claude-generated text: Starting with models released on or after August 2, Anthropic says Claude will embed an imperceptible, machine-readable signal into its text that can survive copying, pasting, and some edits. The watermark will work across Claude's chatbot, API, and Claude Code, with a similar system for images, as Anthropic moves to meet EU AI Act transparency requirements and make AI-generated content easier to detect.

3/ Gemini hits 1 billion monthly users: Gemini has reached 1 billion monthly active users, making it the fastest Google product ever to reach that milestone. The AI assistant is now integrated across virtually every Google product and service, including Search, although the figure only counts people who actively open the Gemini app or web interface.
