🛍️ Amazon unviels new AI bot

Amazon has introduced a new AI shopping assistant named Rufus.

Rufus can help with questions about products by using Amazon's product information, customer reviews, and web data to make comparisons, offer suggestions, and more.

To use Rufus, you can go to Amazon's mobile app and either type or speak into the search bar. A chat window for Rufus will appear, letting you get answers, see suggested questions, or ask more questions.

Note: The new tool is only available for some users at the moment.

💦 Google’s new ImageFX, MusicFX, TextFX

For the first time, those passionate about AI can check out Google’s new ImageFX which uses Imagen 2, a GenAI image model, to let users create and edit images with simple text prompts.

In addition to launching ImageFX, Google announced improvements to MusicFX and TextFX. The former received new capabilities such as higher-quality audio and faster music generation.

As far as TextFX goes, this was launched last year and recently got usability updates that improve the overall user experience and navigation.

🖼️ Google Bard Now Has An AI Image Generator

Google Bard can finally generate AI images.

Users can prompt Bard to generate photos using Google’s Imagen 2 text-to-image model.

Google Bard’s AI-generated images will be marked with a SyntID digital watermark to show they are AI-made.

With this update, Bard is also getting better at understanding, summarizing, reasoning, brainstorming, writing, and planning, making it a more powerful tool.
