They're test-driving a humanoid buddy named Digit, designed to shuffle around tote boxes in warehouses. The initiative is part of Amazon's broader ambition to integrate robotics into its vast operations, although concerns regarding potential job losses for its 1.5 million-strong workforce are prevalent.

Tye Brady, Chief Technologist at Amazon Robotics, refuted claims of workforce reduction, emphasizing that while certain jobs may become obsolete, new roles will emerge.

💦 Meta Develops Invisible Watermarks to Track AI Image Origins

Meta has introduced Stable Signature, a system to watermark AI-generated images, making identification easier.

This invisible watermark is detectable by algorithms even after human editing. Meta aims to integrate this into its open-source AI models and extend it to videos.

The Potential Impact on Business:

Adobe, Shutterstock, and Getty Images, for example, may employ Stable Signature to track how their models are used after they are disseminated, tracing suspected deepfakes or copyright infringements back to specific users.
