BREAKTHROUGH
Scientists at the University of Technology Sydney created a new tech DeWave that converts silent thoughts into text using an EEG cap that records brain activity.
But there's more.
DeWave isn't just for talking; it could let people control super cool stuff like robotic arms or even robots, using nothing but their thoughts.
The best part? It's starting to work! When 29 people tried it out by thinking about what they read, DeWave got it right 40% of the time. That's pretty awesome for a start!
