Bank of America says AI is on the brink of an “iPhone moment” and can boost the world economy by $15.7 trillion in 7 years.

They gave four reasons why AI is about to change the landscape:

• Speedy development

• Easily accessible data

We're at a defining moment, just like when the internet exploded in the '90s, except this time we have large language models like ChatGPT leading the charge.

Microsoft launches new smart AI

Microsoft launched a new AI model called Kosmos-1

It's basically a super-smart AI that can do all sorts of things like analyze images, read text, and even solve puzzles.

It also takes image and audio prompts, paving the way for the next stage beyond ChatGPT's text prompts.

The researchers who created Kosmos-1 believe that it's a crucial step towards creating artificial general intelligence (AGI) that can perform tasks just like humans.

New Windows 11 update puts AI-powered Bing Chat directly in the taskbar

Microsoft is bringing Bing Chat and some other "new Bing" features to the Windows taskbar as part of the first major Windows 11 feature update in 2023.

And if that's not enough to convince you, Microsoft is also reportedly planning to add ChatGPT-powered features to apps like Word and Outlook.

So, imagine a supercharged Clippy that will write that cover letter for you.

Pretty cool, right? All of this is thanks to Microsoft's multibillion-dollar investment in OpenAI, which has reportedly caused "panic" inside Google.
