PLUS: AI QR Codes Are Shaping Our Future

Good morning. We've got some incredible updates, from Adobe paying its creators to generating fully functional QR code art using AI, so let’s begin.

Here’s what we've got for you today:

  • 🤗 Hugging Face released a QR code generator

  • 👕 Google’s new Try on Clothes feature

  • 💰 Adobe's new compensation for creators

  • 🛠️ 13 New Tools and Resources

Today’s reading time is 4 minutes.

Great news! Hugging Face just released their first QR code AI art generator.

This tool allows users to create customized, artistic QR codes. All you need to do is provide an image and a corresponding prompt, then sit back and watch as the generator transforms it into an intricately designed QR code (how cool is that)

Artistic QR codes are the new viral trend.

And the best part is that these QR codes are fully workable.

Prediction: This is going to be increasingly common in marketing ads in the near future. Imagine every business having QR codes with their logos on them (that’s branding on steroids, lol). Right now it’s super effective in marketing your business, but in the future (not so much), I guess it will become more common and less effective.

PS: Brace yourself for QR Code Generator Clones

This is one of the easiest and simplest tools to start a business or side hustle.

Just give your startup/business idea a name, write a short description, and get a marketing site built by AI in 30 seconds .. with what feels like human-written content.

And not just that, this tool has built-in marketing knowledge that helps you grow your business by creating personalized content by automatically identifying your target audience, finding you 25 key influencers, and sending personalized messages to potential customers.

Google is stepping into the retail world with two new features aimed at enhancing online clothing shopping experiences:

  • First up, a virtual try-on experience will show you how clothing items appear on a variety of real human models with diverse skin tones, ethnicities, hair types, and body shapes, spanning sizes.

  • The second one is the introduction of new filters, powered by visual matching algorithms, enabling users to refine searches based on color, style, and patterns to find matching apparel (it’s like Sherlock Holmes finding exactly what you’re looking for)

Why it matters: No longer will you experience that classic "expectation vs reality" letdown when your online purchase arrives. Customers can now make more informed purchasing decisions, reducing the chances of disappointment and product returns. I guess this is better for both customers and brands.

My Prediction: I guess other brands and online shopping platforms may adopt similar technology (at lightning speed) to stay competitive.

Adobe recently launched Firefly, it’s AI-powered image generation and expansion tool, for business use.

They're so confident about it that they're playing a high-stakes game -promising on offering full legal indemnification for any content created through Firefly. This means Adobe will cover legal expenses if businesses face copyright infringement lawsuits over images created by the tool. This move is in response to the ongoing legal uncertainties surrounding generative AI and copyright issues.

Why it matters: It will help in Fair compensation for creators, less ongoing complexities around AI-generated content and copyright law, and commercial or mainstream use of image generation tools.

What's in Firefly's secret sauce? Because Firefly has been trained on a combination of Adobe's stock images, openly licensed content, and public domain content.

One thing is still in the works though - figuring out how to compensate the creators of stock images used to train Firefly. They promise to reveal these details soon. Until then, contributors might be checking their mail anxiously for that Adobe check.

📊 STATS & TRENDS

How Tesla Is Using AI to Create The Autonomous Cars Of The Future

This involves using AI to teach cars to interpret images from sensors and cameras, allowing them to make split-second decisions and anticipate the actions of other vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists.

Significance of Training Data: The effectiveness of this autonomous driving technology is heavily reliant on the volume and quality of training data, and this is where Tesla has an edge.

Tesla's Edge: They crowdsource a wealth of real-world data from the numerous Tesla vehicles on the road, including behavioral metrics from drivers such as their reactions to different situations and how often they interact with the car's controls. This "imitation learning" approach enables Tesla's AI algorithms to learn from real drivers in real time.
